****StoryWalk® in the Park
Enjoy reading and the outdoors at the same time! Walk in the park with award-winning author/photographer, Kathy M. Miller as the group reads the picture book “Chippy Chipmunk Feels Empathy”, which will be spaced throughout the route. Participants will practice using their senses to describe their surroundings. The concept of empathy will be incorporated into the walk as children learn to imagine themselves as the wildlife, or elements of nature they encounter.
