Administered by the Friends of Schuylkill Parks and Recreation (Friends) (501c3) and Sportsmen’s Advisory Board with assistance from the Swatara Co-op Trout Nursery. Deadline for registration by mail or Werner Lumber or Stony Gun and Archery will be April 12 or till 4pm at Fish and Boat Access pavilion April 13. *Tags may be submitted till day before event in 2025. Stockings April 13 & 20. Also, 10 tagged Crappie will be stocked April 27. About 300 Lunkers will be stocked! *Easy tag redemption-take a picture of tag with number legible and text to

Tagged fish every stocking totaling $10,000in prizes! Top Prizes will be 5 each of $500,$300,$200 and will be tag specific; plus, an additional 50 @ $100 each. This year 30 Lunkers will have tags! Pioneer Pole Buildings is in its 4th year of a $2,500 sponsorship, FCCB (First Citizens Community Bank) its 3rd year of $500.
*The Friends committed $5,000 in matching funds for new sponsors. For every $ donated, Friends will match up to $5,000. Please consider sponsoring a $100 tagged fish. Maybe as a business or organization, in honor of someone or just to support this great event. Any size donation will be matched!!!
In addition, Tevis Energy and Modern Comfort Systems has committed $4,500 towards the Mentored Youth Fishing Day March 30. The Pennsylvania Outdoor Writers Association Kermit Henning Memorial Youth Education Fund has also pledged $700. Therefore, over $20,000 worth of trout will be purchased from S&A Trout Ponds and thousand more will be stocked by the Swatara Co-op Trout Nursery and PA Fish and Boat Commission.
100% of registration fees and any cash donations will go towards event. This is not a fundraiser. A lunkers cost averages $30 and other trout about $4.75 each.
