Sweet Arrow Lake Conservation Association honored
The Sweet Arrow Lake Conservation Association has been named the recipient of the “2009 Schuylkill County Outdoors Personalities of the Year” by “Experience The Outdoors,” the weekly outdoors radio program hosted by Pottsville Republican Herald/Shamokin News-Item outdoors editor Doyle Dietz.
SALCA president Denise Donmoyer will be presented with the award in the form of an engraved plaque by Dietz, Tuesday, Feb. 2, during Groundhog Day festivities at Sweet Arrow Lake. Last year, world-class NRA high-power rifle champion Carl Bernosky of Ashland was the inaugural recipient of the Schuylkill County Outdoors Personality of the Year Award.
